It’s a great hospital no question. Availability of specialists is also great. Gynaecology department is one of the best especially under Dr Baburani. The thing that could be even better is the services. For example too crowded a hospital that it may take 20 minutes to get a lift. The people and staff could be a bit emotional and hence not as considerate you may expect them to be for such a hospital. International people visiting this hospital- there is no square plug and hence be prepared for that.

Good facilities and experienced Doctors. Need improvement in nursing service and attending complaints. Has to request 3-4 times for our issues to get attended. Hot water was not available even in a highly paid A/C room, with no response to repeated complaints..

This is a well known and one of the best hospitals in Coimbatore as it is being supported by almost the entire Kongu region. Is it really deserving for such a patronage is a BIG question??First of all the neatness and hygiene of the OP, Rooms in the single occupancy are 30+ years old with mosaic flooring, rusted bath fitting etc. New Govt hospitals are far better than this.What should KMCH do immediately? Make sure the OP patients have new and centralised AC waiting rooms and proper timing. Having such a suffocating OP chambers, the patients are forced to wait for the entire day in that environment makes them more sick.What is the mentality of the Doctors and senior consultants?If you are going for one issue, they will tend to push you to do the investigation for one or more issues though. Focus on the most important issue first. Please ask for the details of why we should investigate other issue, how serious and treatment to be planned afterwards with the approximate cost of it.What should patients or attenders do ? Ask the details of those new tests and never fear about the Doctors to question them. Do not prey for their threads especially for the elderly patients.What are issues in parking ? Good thing is no parking fee. But the facilities to park and walking back to the main hospital is not easy. They should provide battery cars with free or nominal fee.What is the knowledge needed to choose the right treatment? First of all, please do not get carried away by any brand of hospitals. Look for the doctors and their expertise and experience through web or any realisable sources.Why many of people are coming to KMCH with all the issues and inconveniences? Overall their success rate is good but it does not mean that they are the best for sure.Please look for the consultant credentials and experience which is the right thing to do before you select this hospital.

Hygiene and cleanliness standards are severely lacking at this hospital. While it may suffice for checkups, I strongly advise against admission due to these concerns. They charge exorbitantly, yet basic cleanliness is sorely lacking. Proceed with caution, as the quality of care does not align with the hefty fees charged.
