4 months agoGass Forest Museum is a government run natural history museum situated at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Toward the end of the 19th century, an aborted attempt was made by J. A. Gamble, the conservator of forests for Madras Presidency, to establish a forest museum in the province. a month agoSimple museum with lots of stuffed animals, old weapons, formalin dipped animals, animal skins, skeleton, variety of woods and seeds. Lots of info for children and everything under an old british building.Cons: only open on week days.

a month agoA must visit place at coimbatore... they have lot of exhibits that's exicits you... lot of information related to forest and wildlife... but felt the place is bit cramped up with exhibits...
